HIP #62

Romeo’s name matches his personality, as he could double as the family dog. He has such a gentle disposition and is a joy to be around in the pasture, with his kind, soft eye, and goofy personality. You can walk out into the pasture showing him the halter, and he will come running to you. Romeo is gentle enough to ride down the trail, or athletic enough to take to the ranch sorting on the weekend. Romeo is great for the vet, stands quietly for the farrier, and will ground tie until you tell him differently. He is the perfect size for a rider with bad knees, as he is easy to get on and off, but stocky enough to carry almost any size rider comfortably. He has been exposed to all farm machinery, equipment, road traffic, gunfire, deer, cattle- you name it. This gelding has been nothing short of a pleasure to work with since he stepped foot on our property. Romeo has a lot of confidence in unknown situations. He would rather investigate a “scary” object than spook at it. His mellow, good-natured demeanor makes him a great confidence builder and would suit most any level of rider. No matter what direction you want to go, this phenomenal gelding will be sure to take you there. He has all the buttons: side pass, turn around, leg yield, but just as easily-point and go. Gentle, flashy and broke, with unlimited potential! For more information call Jake at 330.464.9758
