HIP #60

Jazzy is the Grandson, of Peppy San Badger, who was inducted into the Quarter Horse Hall of Fame in 2008 and had winnings of’ $172,710 in the cutting pen. His Sire, Jazzy Peppy O’leana has winnings of $14,000 in 2002 and was purchased to breed and never shown again. His Dam, is Sugar Badger. Jazzy is a 2014 gelding who is sorrel in color with 3 white socks and a blaze. His coat keeps a beautiful shine like a new copper penny, and I get many compliments on his color. He is 15 hands and weighs 1100 lbs. He is sturdy enough to carry anyone. I bought Jazzy when he was 2 1/2 yrs. old and unbroke. He is now 7 and broke, broke, broke. He is smooth as they come in the trot and lope. No ground pounding felt on him. I have a trainer that works out of my barn, and he has trained Jazzy. Jassy’s passion is cows. He loves sorting and cutting. He just loves cow work but his training is extensive. He side passes, opens gates, has a good stop and roll back, beautiful spins, always gets the correct lead and does lead changes. Will stand tied all day with no problem. Works off of leg pressure and neck reins. He has been trail ridden on the ranch and we live on a main road and has no problems with the traffic passing. Doesn’t seems to notice them. He is quiet and any child could lead him around and if this child knows how to ride they would have no problem with Jazzy. You can ride him bridle less in the arena. I could go on and on about what a good horse Jazzy has become. Feel free to contact me or come and visit Jazzy and myself. For more information call Sherri at 740.645.3322.
